Organic white peony tea is the most popular of the white teas and consists of two tea leaves and a silver haired bud with a trace of dried Chinese peonies. Brewed it yields a mild astringency and mellow taste.

    This is my every day tea. Love it. Just one thing the picture doesn't look like the tea, it looks more greenish. The white peony I order from Sympathy for the Kettle is different shades of grey so not sure what's going on there but I've been ordering it for years and its never been green! Anyway love the white peony and I've ordered it from other places and ended up giving it away - I only buy it from this site. (Posted on 3/7/12)
