Iced Teas

Good tea is good hot or iced. Measurements of brewing iced tea is really up to the individual. A standard guideline is 4 to 5 tablespoons per 32 oz pitcher.

Cold, refrigerator brewing seems to bring out a lighter taste in teas and works wonderfully with darjeelings and green teas.

For those that like more of the tannic tea taste in their iced tea, turn on the kettle and brew your tea hot and strong before cooling the pitcher down with ice.

Have extra loose tea at hand this summer to brew iced tea when needed, new studies have shown tea is not a diuretic so drink up.

We've listed some of our favorite teas to make iced below.
